~Says Every Great Leader was once Nurtured Through The Classroom

The First Lady of Aniocha South Local Government Area, Mrs. Ella Jude Chukwunwike , has reaffirmed her commitment to grassroots educational development as she distributed notebooks,in line with the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI) Back-to-School Programme ; a nationwide intervention spearheaded by Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu (CON), in collaboration with the You Matter Charity Foundation of Delta State’s First Lady, Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori.
The event, which took place across selected public primary schools in Aniocha South including Umuomi Primary School, Ewulu; Abah-Unor Primary School, Abah-Unor; Omezi Primary School, Olloh-Ogwashi Uku; Ashinze Primary School, Azagba-Ogwashi Uku; Abuedo Primary School, Ubulu-Uku; and Aniobodo Primary School, Ubulu-Uno, witnessed the distribution of essential educational materials to pupils, symbolizing a renewed commitment to strengthening the foundation of learning at the grassroots level.
Speaking during the exercise, Mrs. Chukwunwike noted that the gesture aligns with the national vision of the Renewed Hope Initiative to promote inclusive education, ease the financial burden on parents, and stimulate enthusiasm for learning among children in public schools.

“Every great leader you see today was once nurtured through the classroom,” Mrs. Chukwunwike said. “Education is the seedbed of leadership and the cornerstone of national progress. The Renewed Hope Initiative is therefore committed to supporting early learning and foundational education, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the UNICEF framework for child development.”

She emphasized that the initiative represents a practical expression of intergovernmental collaboration, bringing together federal, state, and local government efforts toward improving the quality of education and child welfare.
“What Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, and our own First Lady, Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori, are doing through this program is visionary. It demonstrates that leadership is not just about policy but about people — particularly our children, who represent the true wealth of the nation,” she stated.

The Aniocha South First Lady expressed gratitude to the Delta State Government for its unwavering support in education and child development under the Governor Sheriff Oborevwori-led administration, describing it as “a government that continues to prove that compassion, inclusiveness, and human capital development are not mere promises, but measurable realities.”
She was accompanied by the Vice Chairman of Aniocha South LGA, Hon Patricia Ekwutozam Adolue the APC Women Leader, Mrs. Eunice Otuya,the Aniocha South Women Development officer (WDO) Mrs Perpetual Obichie OputaOlisa, principal local government appointees, and other female political leaders who also participated in the outreach.
The delegation commended the Renewed Hope Initiative for its far-reaching impact, noting that the program complements the Delta State Government’s M.O.R.E. Agenda.
As the Renewed Hope Initiative continues to make inroads across Nigeria, its implementation in Aniocha South stands as a symbol of shared governance and a deep moral commitment to the next generation, ensuring that no child is left behind in the pursuit of education and excellence.
In the words of Mrs. Chukwunwike, “When we invest in education, we invest in the future of our children, our communities, and our country. That is the true meaning of Renewed Hope.”
