Delta State commissioner for Environment,Mr Ejiro Jamani has said this month’s environmental Sanitation will be held on Saturday May 31,2025 without restrictions of human and Vehicular Movement.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Director, Sanitation and Waste Management,Mrs Atigan, F. A. On behalf of the commissioner for Environment.
According to the statement the non restriction of movement was as a result of the ongoing NECO Examination scheduled to hold tomorrow Saturday May 31 ,2025.
The statement advised residents to clean their environment and continue the practice of personal hygiene, clear their blocked drainage system, disposed their waste properly as well as fumigate their premises to prevent Cholera and other Sanitation related diseases.
