100 Days In Office: Gov Oborevwori Inaugurates Ultra-Modern Security House, Other Projects in Ethiope East

The Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. (Elder) Sheriff Oborevwori has inaugurated ultra-modern security house and other projects executed by the Ethiope East local government chairman, Hon. Augustine Usinefe Ogedegbe within his 100 days in office.

During the inauguration of the projects in Ethiope East local government council secretariat, Isiokolo, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori said the epoch making event was part of the celebration marking the 100 days of the administration of Hon. (Chief) Augustine Ogedegbe JP, the Executive Chairman of Ethiope East.
The Executive Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. (Elder) Sheriff Oborevwori who was represented by the Honourable Commissioner for Directorate of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Prince Kelly Penawou, said the governor in his goodwill message, has commended Hon. Ogedegbe’s visionary leadership and rapid developmental strides.

He noted that within 100 days in office, Hon. Ogedegbe has executed numerous projects, adding that this event is a testament of his commitment to serve and deliver his campaign promises to the people of Ethiope East, noting that the large turnout of dignitaries at the event is a show of overwhelming supports he is enjoying from his people and members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

Earlier, the Executive Chairman of Ethiope East, Hon. Augustine Usinefe Ogedegbe, in his keynote address thanked His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. (Elder) Sheriff Oborevwori who gave him the opportunity to serve the people of Ethiope East.

Hon. Ogedegbe said in other to complement the good work of the governor which is in line with the More Agenda, he has embarked on several projects in his100 days in office, which includes the Construction of New Access Road at the Council Secretariat, the Ultra-Modern Security House at the council secretariat, the Council Secretariat Front view Beautification.
Others are the Council Secretariat Front view solar power street lights, the completion of Customary Court Road, Construction of New Security Gates, Construction of New Security Gate at Customary Court Road, Construction of Mini roundabout at the Secretariat, the Curve block overlying at the council New Access Road, the Curveblock Overlying at the Customary Court road.

Others are the Painting of Secretariat Fence, the Evacuation of Heap of Refuse Dump at Abraka Main Market, the Grading of Mission Road Isiokolo, Grading of Egbage Street Isiokolo, the grading of Crowell Street Isiokolo, the grading of Lucky Ejenake street Isiokolo and the grading of Yung Esiekpe Street Isiokolo, among others.

Hon. Ogedegbe pointed out that the inauguration of these projects marks a significant milestone in the development of Ethiope East and it has proven its continued efforts of his administration to bringing tangible progress to the people of the local government area.

The event was attended by personalities amongst whom are HRM Mike Omeru, Ogurime-rime, Ukori I, Ovie of Agbon Kingdom, HRM Lucky Ochuko Ararile, Awaeke I, Ovie of Umiaghwa-Abraka Kingdom, HRM Akpomeyoma Majoroh, Ovie of Oruarivie Abraka Kingdom, Prof. Nyerhovwo Tonukari, Commissioner for Higher Education, Chief Bernard Edewor; Hon. Sunny Emeyese; Chief Tony Oboroh, Chief Mike Adiotomre and others.
