Effurun, Delta State – Next month, all roads will lead to Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area, as the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom, His Royal Majesty Emmanuel Ekemejewa Sideso, Abe I, prepares to unveil his biography, “Odyssey of Royalty: The Reign of Abe I,” alongside celebrations for the 18th anniversary of his coronation.

The historic event, set for February 14, will attract notable figures, including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senate President Senator Godswill Akpabio, Delta State Governor Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, among other distinguished guests.
The event will be chaired by Olorogun Festus Keyamo, while High Chief (Dr.) Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, the Ibe-Ebidouwei, will serve as the Chief Launcher. Professor Joe Abugu, SAN, will review the biography.

Celebrations begin on February 7 with a 21-gun salute marking the start of the festivities and a chieftaincy title conferral for 36 deserving individuals. The series of events will include homage sessions at the palace from various quarters of the Uvwie Kingdom, culminating in a thanksgiving Mass on February 18.

The events will emphasize Uvwie’s importance as a commercial and socio-economic center in the region.
