Responding to the threat of All Progressive Congress ( APC ) taking over power from the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP) in Delta State in 2027, an Executive Assistant (EA) Political to Governor Oborevwori, Multi Chief Vincent Okudolor has responded that no political party can unseat the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP) in the state.
Okudolor who is one of the leaders of PDP Warri Urhobos gave the assurance in an exclusive media chat with our correspondent in Warri last weekend.
The highly esteemed Agbarha Warri born PDP chieftain , reasoned that political parties are free to air their opinions on their chances of winning elections but he however quickly added that it is an illusion for APC to think or dream of unseating the PDP in Delta State in 2027.
” From inception, Delta State has been a core PDP state. Delta State is PDP and PDP is Delta State.
” The laudable achievements of His Excellency Rt Hon Elder Sheriff Francis Oborevwori so far in all sectors across the state have shortlived the hope of the opposition in the contest of 2027 general elections,”Chief Okudolor added.
He however called on Deltans to sustain their support for Governor Oborevwori and the PDP in 2027 and beyond and not to be deceived by the empty boasts of the APC .
