The Executive Chairman of Bomadi Local Government , Hon. Dagidi Rawlings Andaye, has publicly thanked Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff F.O. Oborevwori, for the recent approval of vital internal road projects in Bomadi.
Hon. Andaye expressed his gratitude following the State Executive Council meeting held on March 13, 2026, where the governor approved the construction of two significant roads: Dr. Deingha Macaulay Link Road and Orubiri Link Road. He described the approval as a testament to the state administration’s dedication to infrastructural development and inclusive governance throughout Delta State.
“The construction of these roads will greatly enhance connectivity within Bomadi, ease transportation for our residents, and foster social and economic activities in the area,” Andaye stated.
He highlighted that the inclusion of Bomadi in the list of approved projects demonstrates Governor Oborevwori’s commitment to the needs of riverine communities and his determination to promote equitable development across the state.
The council chairman conveyed the appreciation of Bomadi residents for the governor’s focus on their infrastructural challenges.
In addition to the internal roads, Hon. Andaye acknowledged the governor’s approval of other major projects benefiting Ijaw communities, noting that these initiatives promise to stimulate growth and improve living standards.
