The Executive Chairman of Aniocha South Local Government, Hon. Pastor Jude Jude Chukwunwike has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to God-fearing leadership, responsible governance, and people-centered development, assuring residents that public resources under his stewardship will continue to be deployed for projects that will leave credible and enduring legacies for both present and future generations.
The council chairman gave the assurance in Ogwashi-Uku, the administrative headquarters of the local government, while interacting with his aides and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Electoral Officer overseeing Aniocha South.
Speaking during the engagement, Pastor Chukwunwike emphasized the importance of civic participation, urging eligible residents to take advantage of the ongoing voter registration exercise to ensure they are duly captured in the electoral register.
According to him, voter registration remains a critical democratic responsibility that empowers citizens to choose leaders of their choice in forthcoming elections.
Reiterating his guiding philosophy of leadership, the council chairman stated that his administration would continue to govern with a deep sense of accountability and the fear of God, ensuring that the resources of the local government are strategically channeled into developmental frameworks capable of transforming communities and improving the welfare of the people.

Reflecting on the achievements of the previous fiscal year, Chukwunwike noted that the 2025 Budget recorded measurable impact across several communities in the local government, addressing critical needs in infrastructure, social services, and community development.
He expressed optimism that the current fiscal plan will significantly surpass the gains of the previous year, stressing that his administration is committed to leaving stronger footprints and sustainable legacies that will endure beyond his tenure, God willing.
On security, the chairman underscored the importance of collective vigilance and strategic collaboration between residents and security agencies.
He called on stakeholders, community leaders, and citizens to actively support the administration’s ongoing efforts to maintain peace and stability across the local government.
According to him, sustained security requires coordinated intelligence sharing, community cooperation, and proactive engagement with relevant security authorities. He emphasized that the local government is committed to strengthening operational collaboration with security agencies to identify, deter, and neutralize criminal elements, particularly in areas previously exploited for unlawful activities.
The council boss further noted that maintaining a safe and stable environment remains fundamental to attracting investment, economic activities, and sustainable development within the local government area.
