The Executive Chairman of Aniocha South Local Government , Hon. Pastor Jude Chukwunwike , has charged youths to exhibit fairness, equity, and a deep sense of responsibility in their leadership roles and social engagements.
Chukwunwike gave the charge while receiving the executive members of Okwu ndi’ Aniocha South, a socio-political loop, who paid him a courtesy visit at the council headquarters to seek support for their forthcoming End-of-Year Get-Together and Award Night 2025.
Addressing the group, the council boss urged them to be guided by discretion and good judgment in managing their affairs, especially on social media platforms. He emphasized the importance of upholding truth, avoiding cyberbullying, blackmail, or divisive commentary, and ensuring inclusivity—particularly by giving women equal participation and recognition.

“As administrators of a public platform, you carry a social responsibility to promote peace, fairness, and constructive dialogue,” Chukwunwike said.
“Be objective in your opinions, strike a balance when issues arise, and use your influence to project the positive image of Aniocha South.”
The chairman further encouraged the group to utilize social media as a tool for promoting community development, attracting investors, and advocating for good governance, rather than allowing it to become a platform for conflict or misinformation.
Earlier in his remarks, the leader of the delegation, Mr. Frank Amechi Okwudini, accompanied by Mr. Richard Nkwor, comrade Kelvin Etieh, comrade Victor Dike and Prince Ndubuisi Ekwenuya (Wantilo) commended Hon. Chukwunwike for his inclusive and people-oriented style of governance.
Okwudini lauded the council chairman for ensuring an equitable distribution of development projects across the three clans of Aniocha South, describing him as “a leader who truly represents the spirit of unity and progress.”

He added that the group’s upcoming award ceremony is designed to celebrate individuals and institutions whose contributions have impacted the local government positively, and sought the council’s support for the event.
Hon. Pastor Chukwunwike, in his response, assured them of the council’s continued partnership with youth and civic groups whose initiatives align with the administration’s vision of promoting peace, development, and responsible citizenship across Aniocha South.
