Some Traders narrowly escaped death on Monday afternoon as a black Nissan SUV fell from the popular Udu bridge in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State .
ACTUAL News gathered that the driver of the car who was alone is receiving treatment at a private clinic in Udu.
According to some eye witnesses, the driver of the Nissan SUV lost control of the car when one of the front tires got punctured.
They said that the car fell from the bridge to the ground beside Udu River where there were many persons doing businesses.
The chairman of the traders under Enerhen axis of the Udu bridge said the Enerhen Police Division has been informed of the development.
Motorists and commuters plying the Udu bridge appealed to the Delta State Government to urgently carry out major maintenance on the bridge particularly the dilapidated rails..
