Venerable ( Dr) Peters Agamugoro is the new Chairman of Counselling Association Of Nigeria ( CASSON ), Delta State Chapter.
This followed his election along with other new executives of CASSON Delta State Chapter at the last annual conference of the association at Delta College of Education, Mosogar, Ethiope West Local Government Area on Tuesday 11th March, 2025.
Other members of the association in Delta State who were elected as executives included: Dr ( Mrs ) Catherine Eboh ( Vice Chairman) , Mrs Iroro Oyearone – Maidoh ( Secretary) and Mrs Gloria Enwemuche ( Assistant Secretary) .Others are : Mrs Rita Ogbodu ( Treasurer) , Dr (Mrs) Ejiro Ekurume Kolodi- Praise ( Financial Secretary) , Mrs Rachel Obie ( Public Relations Officer) and Mrs Avworo Enebi ( Internal Auditor).
The newly elected executives of CASSON , Delta State Chapter were immediately inaugurated by Dr Emmanuel Oniyama, a lawyer at the epoch making event.
In his acceptance speech, the new Chairman of the association in Delta State, Venerable Dr Peters Agamugoro thanked members on behalf of his colleagues for electing them.
He also promised to operate an open door policy that will carry all members along.
Agamugoro further thanked members for their support for his predecessor, Dr( Mrs) Edna Abebetu Abbaide.
He however solicited for the same support from members to enable him implement his good agenda for the association.
