In recognition of his exceptional leadership and commitment to public service, the Executive Chairman of Aniocha South Local Government Area, Hon. Pastor Jude Chukwunwike , has been honoured by the Lions International Club, District 404A4, for his outstanding performance and contributions to humanity.
Pastor Chukwunwike’s achievements in human capital development, infrastructure, education, healthcare, peace building, and security have consistently drawn national attention, earning him numerous prestigious awards.
The Lions International recognition further underscores his impact in grassroots governance and his unwavering dedication to improving the lives of his constituents.
The high point of the event was the installation and official presentation of Dr. Omonigho-Okoro Robinson, PhD, FCA, MJF, NLCF, as the new District Governor of Lions International Club, District 404A4. The colourful ceremony was held at the South End Event Center, DBS Road, Asaba, Delta State.
Representing the Aniocha South council chairman at the event was the Supervisory Councillor for Environment, Hon. Kelly Chika Edozie, accompanied by a strong delegation comprising the Supervisory Councillor for Works, Comrade Chekwume Okonji; Supervisory Councillor for Education, Comrade Victor Dike; Supervisory Councillor for Agriculture, Comrade Francis Okocha; Information Officer of the Council, Mr. Sammy Okonta; and the Personal Assistant to the Chairman on Media and Publicity, Comrade Michael Ofunne.
The occasion also attracted eminent personalities including the Deputy Governor of Delta State, His Excellency Sir Monday Onyeme, who was ably represented by his Deputy Chief of Staff, Barr. Christopher Ifeanyi Osakwe, JP. Another distinguished guest in attendance was His Royal Majesty, Obi (Prof.) Chike Epiphany Azinge, the Asagba of Asaba.
