The Executive Chairman of Aniocha South Local Government Council, Hon. Pastor Jude Chukwunwike, has hailed the emergence of the newly elected executives of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the local government area, describing their emergence as a new dawn for the party.
Commending the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for monitoring the party congress, as well as the state party officials who supervised the exercise in Aniocha South, Pastor Chukwunwike praised the process as inclusive, transparent, and a clear demonstration of the will of the people in electing men and women to pilot the affairs of the party.

Addressing the gathering that drew loud ovation from party faithful, the Council Chairman called on all party leaders and supporters to sheath their swords, emphasizing that the era of unnecessary squabbles and internal bickering is over. He declared that the political war in Aniocha South has ended.
“Our fusion has made the 2027 election easier. All the political titans have boarded the same boat, and that signals a clear and inspiring journey to victory,” he stated.

Hon. Chukwunwike further sued for unity and togetherness, urging the officers-elect to be magnanimous in victory and work towards strengthening the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.

At the congress, Sir Norbert Akachukwu Sochukwudinma emerged as the Aniocha South APC Chairman, while Mrs. Eunice Otuya Nwoko was elected as the LGA Woman Leader, alongside other officers-elect.
Prominent leaders present at the congress included former two-time Minister of the Federal Republic, High Chief Chris Agbobu; member representing Aniocha South in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Chief Isaac Anwuzia; Commissioner for Technical Education, Hon. Smart Ijeoma Ufoh; former member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Pascal Lord Michael Adigwe; former Commissioner and former member of the State House of Assembly, Hon. Austin Chika Chikezie; former Council Chairman and Senior Adviser to the Governor, Hon. Emma Sorokwu;
Others are the Special Adviser to the Governor on Investment and Infrastructure, Chief Barr. Nath Igbadi; former Council Chairman and two-time Commissioner, Hon. Ide Tony Nwaka ; and Hon. Zeliwe Ojiogwu, a former Council Chairman.
Also in attendance were Arch. Kester Ifeadi; Hon. Joe Adigwe, Vice Chairman of Aniocha South; Hon. Patricia Adolue; and Hon. Collins Iwebunor, ICT Director, Delta State Internal Revenue Service among others
