In another bold move to leave an indelible mark in Aniocha South, the administration of Hon. Pastor Jude Chukwunwike, Executive Chairman of Aniocha South Council, has embarked on an ambitious project of rebuilding the 171 open shops and lay the foundation for 10 modern lock-up shops, complete with essential amenities for Nkwor Market at Nsukwa.
The community is abuzz with excitement as traders, residents, and opinion leaders hail the initiative as a game-changer, set to revitalize the business environment.
Mr. Wisdom Mebele, chairman of Nsukwa Development Union, lauded the council chairman’s visionary leadership, noting that Aniocha South has never witnessed such rapid transformation simultaneously involving the three clans of the council area.

Engr. Pastor Harrison Izu Opia on a telephone conversation, has also expressed gratitude to the council chairman for prioritizing youth development and infrastructural strides, emphasizing that Pastor Chukwunwike’s administration is a beacon of hope for a brighter future.
Other notable government functionaries from the incumbent council leadership, including Hon. Oyem Oluchukwu, councilor representing the Nsukwa ward, Frank Okwudini Amaechi, Aniocha South Needs and Assessment Liaison Unit coordinator and Jonathan Oyem, Special Adviser on Media and Strategic Communication, also commended Pastor Chukwunwike for being steadfast in fulfilling his campaign promises, describing the council chairman “as a silent achiever” who has paved the way for Aniocha South as a key player in driving the state governor’s MORE agenda.
They vowed to rally support for the re-election of Governor oborevwori in 2027 With this groundbreaking project, the community is poised to experience unprecedented growth, empowerment, and progress.
