The Executive Chairman of Aniocha South Local Government, Hon. Pastor Jude Chukwunwike, has extended warm felicitations to the Muslim Ummah in Aniocha South and across Nigeria on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, marking the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan.
In a goodwill message conveyed through his spokesman, Oyem Jonathan, the Chairman congratulated Muslim faithful for their spiritual discipline, sacrifice, and devotion throughout the fasting period. He urged them to continue to uphold the noble teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, which emphasize peace, compassion, justice, and selflessness.
“Eid Mubarak to our Muslim brothers and sisters in Aniocha South. As we celebrate the culmination of Ramadan—a period of deep reflection, sacrifice, and spiritual renewal—I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the Muslim community on this joyous occasion of Eid-el-Fitr,” he stated.
Pastor Chukwunwike noted that Eid-el-Fitr is not only a time of celebration but also a solemn reminder of the enduring values of faith, perseverance, charity, and unity that define Islam. He encouraged adherents to sustain these virtues in their daily lives while fostering love, tolerance, and mutual respect across religious and cultural lines.
