The Executive Chairman of Aniocha South Local Government, Hon. Pastor Jude Chukwunwike, has extended warm felicitations to the Muslim Ummah in Aniocha South and across Nigeria on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, marking the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan.

In a goodwill message conveyed through his spokesman, Oyem Jonathan, the Chairman congratulated Muslim faithful for their spiritual discipline, sacrifice, and devotion throughout the fasting period. He urged them to continue to uphold the noble teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, which emphasize peace, compassion, justice, and selflessness.
“Eid Mubarak to our Muslim brothers and sisters in Aniocha South. As we celebrate the culmination of Ramadan—a period of deep reflection, sacrifice, and spiritual renewal—I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the Muslim community on this joyous occasion of Eid-el-Fitr,” he stated.
Pastor Chukwunwike noted that Eid-el-Fitr is not only a time of celebration but also a solemn reminder of the enduring values of faith, perseverance, charity, and unity that define Islam. He encouraged adherents to sustain these virtues in their daily lives while fostering love, tolerance, and mutual respect across religious and cultural lines.
The Chairman further commended the Muslim community for their invaluable contributions to the social harmony and cultural diversity of Aniocha South.

He described their commitment to peaceful coexistence and community development as commendable and essential to the continued progress of the local government area.
He also specifically applauded Muslim leaders within the local government for their steadfast support in the ongoing efforts to curb insecurity, while appreciating their collaboration in strengthening inter-religious engagement and harmony across communities.

Reaffirming his administration’s dedication to inclusive governance, Pastor Chukwunwike assured residents of his unwavering commitment to building a peaceful, secure, and prosperous society where all citizens, regardless of religious or ethnic background, can thrive and realize their full potential.
On behalf of his family, the government, and the good people of Aniocha South, he wished the Muslim faithful a joyous and peaceful Eid celebration, praying that Allah grants them continued guidance, good health, and abundant blessings.
“May this season strengthen our shared humanity and deepen our collective resolve to build a more united and progressive society,” the statement added.
