He also paid tribute to patriotic religious leaders, security agencies, and everyday citizens who continue to play vital roles in the fight against insecurity, extremism, and all forms of criminality.
Reaffirming his administration’s commitment to the security and well-being of all residents, the Chairman called on constituents to use the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir 2025 to reflect on the values of sacrifice, service to others, and national renewal.
“This Sallah must be more than a ceremonial observance. Let it be a time of rededication to love, empathy, forgiveness, and community spirit. These are the very pillars upon which peaceful and prosperous societies are built,” he emphasized.
The council boss called for collective action and a national value reorientation across all faiths, generations, and communities.
“When we rise above division and embrace our shared values as Nigerians, there is no challenge we cannot overcome.”
He wished all Muslim faithful a joyous, safe, and spiritually fulfilling Eid – el – Kabir celebration.
