Etche R’ Erovie commiserates With Abe I On The Death Of PA

The Etche R’ Erovie (tradititioal administrative unit) in Uvwie Kingdom has commiserated with HRM Dr Emmanuel Ekemejewa Sideso ( JP ) Abe 1 OON the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom over the demise of his Personal Assistant ( PA ) High Chief Kenneth Okwowe.

A delegation of the traditional administrative unit led by its Usavwre ( tradititioal key ) High Chief Rex Eju paid a condolence visit to the Unuevworo ( highest tradititioal chief ) of Uvwie Kingdom , High Chief Hope Akasa ( JP) at his Alaka residence last weekend.

High Chief Eju who spoke at the event, expressed deep sadness over the death of High Chief Kenneth Okwowe who was until his death the Usavwre of Etche R Alegbon and the Treasurer of Uvwie General Improvement Union (UGIU) .

He remarked that the late Uvwie tradititioal
chief served Uvwie Kingdom with all his heart ” Though he did not live long but within the short period he lived , he achieved a lot .
Eju had earlier disclosed that they were sent on the condolence visit by the Unuevworo ( tradititioal mouth piece ) of Etche R Alegbon, High Chief Sunday Omeni Agbugbu JP.

In his response, High Chief Hope Akasa JP who received the delegation on behalf of the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom thanked them for the visit as he promised to relay their condolence message to the Ovie of Uvwie who was on his annual vacation abroad at the time of the visit.

The delegation of Etche R Erovie later proceeded to the nearby residence of late Chief Kenneth Okwowe to pay a condolence visit to his family .

They were received by his elder brother , Mr Sunday Okwowe
Others on the delegation of Etche R Erovie were : Chief Mrs Rita Agbugbu , Chief Okoloba , Chief ( Mrs ) Victoria Erudje , Chief Benson Arioemghan, Chief Najomoh , Chief Daniel Ugavah , Chief Tom Eyejeweye and Chief ( Mrs ) Lucky Okoro
