A coalition of Nigerian women, known as the FOOG Women Support Group for Asiwaju 2027, held a thanksgiving service at the Gospel Church of Christ on Owuni Road, Sapele, to express their gratitude for the successful visit of Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, to the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III.
The First Lady’s visit on February 26, 2026, was marked by a warm reception from women and men in Iwere land as well as other diginitries within the state and across the country.

One of the leaders of FOOG Women Support Group for Asiwaju 2027, Mrs Vivian Mene thanked the President of the group and Iye of Warri kingdom,Chief Esther Okotie-Eboh for mobilizing women to welcome senator Oluremi Tinubu from Sapele, Warri South, Warri North, and Warri South West Local Government Areas of Delta State.

During the thanksgiving, Mrs. Mene praised the leadership of Chief Okotie-Eboh.
She acknowledged the Olu of Warri, thanking him for conferring a traditional title of Utukpa-Oritse of Warri Kingdom—meaning “Light of God”—on the First Lady.
In her remarks, Mrs. Mene also commended Senator Tinubu for her generous donation of ₦50 million to support 1,000 female petty traders in the state, enhancing women’s economic empowerment efforts.
Her speech included prayers for the Olu of Warri and his wife, Olori Atuwatse III, asking for continued blessings upon their leadership.
During the thanksgiving Pastor Esther Aidelebe, recognized the significance of the FOOG Women Support Group’s initiative to give thanks to God for the successful visit, praying for continued blessings on the First Lady for her work in supporting women and youth.
The FOOG Women Support Group was established to champion good leadership, governance, and sustainable development, reflecting the values of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
