Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has conveyed his heartfelt condolences to Governor Douye Diri, the government, and the people of Bayelsa State following the passing of Deputy Governor Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo.
In a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, Governor Oborevwori described Senator Ewhrudjakpo, fondly referred to as “a man of many proverbs,” as a tragic loss to the Niger Delta and Nigeria. Governor Oborevwori stated, “I join the Governor, his family, the government, and the people of Bayelsa State, friends, and allies in mourning Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo. He offered prayers for God’s comfort to Governor Diri, his family, and the Bayelsa community, urging them to find solace in the lasting legacies of service left by the late Deputy Governor.
