BOMADI, DELTA STATE– The Executive Chairman of Bomadi Local Government Council, Hon. Rawlings Dagidi Andaye, has issued a stern two-week ultimatum to scrap operators in Aiyetoro , Kpakiama community, Bomadi local government area of Delta State to clear the substantial amounts of scraps, plastics, and other debris littering the main road leading into Bomadi town.
He stated that Failure to comply will result in the demolition of structures within the community.

During an unplanned visit to Aiyetoro on Saturday, February 21, 2026, Hon. Andaye expressed his dismay over the transformation of the area into an illegal dump site, predominantly attributed to non-indigenous residents majorly Hausa-Fulani descent.
He emphasized that his administration will not tolerate any actions that deface the environment.
“This is the entrance into Bomadi, and the sight is embarrassing,” Andaye remarked. “I am giving the residents of Aiyetoro a two-week ultimatum to evacuate all bagged items, including scraps and plastics that are causing an environmental hazard. If these items are not removed, I will not only remove them myself but also demolish illegal structures, including zinc and block houses, in the area. Nothing will be spared.”
The Council Chairman, Hon Dagidi Andaye lamented why non-indigenous individuals would treat the community in a manner they would not accept in their places of origin.
He urged those responsible for the illegal dumping to seek alternative locations for disposing of their waste.
The leader of the scrap operators in Aiyetoro-kpakiama, Mallam Murtala Mohammed, responded to Hon. Andaye’s concerns and assured him that they would take immediate action to meet the directive, stating that the message was clear and would be adhered to.
The ultimatum underscores the government’s commitment to maintaining environmental integrity and Public health in Bomadi.
