The Chairman of Ifugbe/ Merogun Community in Warri South Local Government Area, Comrade Emmanuel Godbless Merogun ( aka Omos ) has appealed to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for the development of the community.

He made the appeal in his key note address at a press conference in the community last weekend.
He painfully noted that the deplorable state of infrastructures in the community was worrisome and therefore appealed to Governor Oborevwori, Warri Local Government Council and corporate bodies for their urgent rehabilitation.
“Ifugbe/Merogun Autonomous Community is home to over 4,000 inhabitants who are in dare need of pipe borne water, good roads and drainage systems.
“These are critical and fundamental utility for household survival, public health and urban development for the betterment of the standard of living, boost the businesses within the community and reduce the recurring health challenges caused by the deteriorating environment and blocked drainage system. ” he added
Comrade Emmanuel Godbless Merogun then named the affected streets to include: SSL , Berel, Irhivwoba , Ogisi – Akpia, Temisaren , Eyube , Merogun Waterside and Old Ovwian Road
He had earlier lauded Governor Oborevwori for his laudable achievements in infrastructural developments in other parts of the local government area and across the state.
The Chairman of Ifugbe/ Merogun Community had also praised the Executive Chairman of Warri South Local Government Council, Hon Isaac Weyinmi Agbateyiniro, His Majesty, Atuwatse 111 the Olu of Warri, the Olara- Aja of the community, Elder Roland Merogun and the Community Trustee Chairman Engr Henry Godbless Merogun for their interest and contributions to the development of the community.
