Senior Special Assistant to Delta State Governor on community Development, Dr Patrick Ighomrore (JP) has hailed the leadership of Delta State People’s Democratic party PDP for conducting a smooth and acceptable Party Primaries Election across the state.
Dr Ighomrore who was speaking in an interview with Actual News correspondent in Effurun,Uvwie local government Area of Delta State ,noted that the PDP primary election held in Uvwie local government Area was generally accepted .
He thanked the PDP leaders ,Elders and members of the party in Uvwie for electing Chief Anthony Ofoni as the party chairmanship candidate ahead of the July local government election in Delta State .
Dr Ighomrore specially thanked the party chairman in Uvwie local government Area, Elder Efe Okoledo and the leader of the party ,Hon Solomon Ighrakpata for their leadership prowess .
Dr Ighomrore also commended the state Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori and the party’s state chairman Olorogun Kingsley Esiso for providing the enabling environment for Aspirants to contest the primaries Election across the twenty five local Government Areas
He added that Governor Oborevwori at several political engagements with leaders and stakeholders of PDP in Delta Central, Delta North and Delta South Senatorial Districts emphasized the need for a transparent, free and fair party primaries to ensure that only credible and popular aspirants with people focused agenda emerged as PDP candidates.
Dr Ighomrore said the state Governor was neural during the just concluded Party council electioneering process.
He added that PDP and it’s candidates will win all 25 local government councils in the state, due to the enviable performances of the governor.
