The Executive Chairman of Aniocha South Local Government Council, Hon. Pastor Jude Chukwunwike has reassured constituents of his administration’s unwavering commitment to inclusive growth, development, and equitable distribution of infrastructure across the local government area.
He emphasized that his administration will continue to be guided by the Needs Assessment Report to ensure every community receives projects that align with their priorities.
Pastor Chukwunwike gave the assurance while receiving a delegation of Nsukwa Clan Mandate at the Chairman’s Lodge, Ogwashi-Uku on Thursday, August 28, 2025. He specifically expressed deep gratitude to the group and the people of Nsukwa clan in general for their overwhelming support and steadfast solidarity during his re-election, pledging his total support to the clan whenever the need arises.
“Please, return home with a message of hope. Infrastructure may tarry, but be assured that development will reach all communities in due time,” the chairman stated.
Earlier, Chief Dr. Brown Onyeka Okoh, Hon. Chief Tony Egbune, Dr. Felix Nwaokolo, and other speakers on behalf of the group, commended the council chairman for giving Nsukwa clan a voice in his government through strategic appointments and empowerment opportunities. They also lauded his remarkable infrastructural strides, proactive management of insecurity, and the multi-layered achievements recorded within his vibrant one year in office, rating him above his peers in people-centered governance.
The highlight of the meeting was a unanimous vote of confidence in Hon. Chukwunwike’s style of leadership, alongside an endorsement of his mandate for any future political pursuit.
Notable attendees included the Vice Chairman of Aniocha South, Hon. Patricia Adolue; former Vice Chairman, Hon. Amaka Adigwe; SSA to the Governor and former Legislative Leader, Hon. Joseph Modeme; former two-time Councillor of Ward 7, Hon. Jude Igwebueze; and Mrs. Victoria Okoh.
Also present were Chief Dr. Madrid Ogor, former Councillor of Ward 10, Hon. Kingsley Onyeogo; Dr. Bishop Brian Ilomechine; Supervisory Councillors for Health, Works, and Education; Comrade Austin Unorchie, Comrade Promise Chekwume Okonji, and Comrade Victor Dike, respectively.
