It was all thanks, dancing and rejoicing on Sunday at St Stephen Anglican Church Jakpa road Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State as the wife Of former caretaker committee chairman of Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ Delta State council and chairman of Media committee of St Stephens Anglican church,Mrs laurenta Oji thanked God Almighty for his goodness and protection .
Mrs Oji who was speaking after a special thanksgiving to God urges Christians to serve God faithfully and put their trust in God, stressing that those who put their trust in God shall never be disappointed.
She however thanked God for restoring her health.
In a sermon titled understanding spiritual things,Revened Ejiroghene Ekujuvwevwo enjoined Christians to be spiritual minded ,saying the natural Man does not understand spiritual things.
Rev Ekujuvwevwo who read some scriptures from the holy Bible including 1 Corinthians chapter 2 verse 14 noted that the natural Man does not accept the things that comes from the spirit of God because he or she cannot understand the spiritual things.
Also speaking at the end of the thanksgiving service Comrade Daniel Oji thanked God for his goodness in the life of his wife and family.
He prayed God to continue to bless all children of God and keep them in good health .
Comrade Oji stated that those who put their trust in God shall never be put to shame.
Highpoint of the service was thanksgiving by Mrs laurenta Oji and family accompanied by friends and well wishers .
