The General Overseer of Goshen Freedom Tabernacle, GFT in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State,Prophet Austin Ariole JP on Wednesday said,”it’s time for a State of Emergency” in the Church in Nigeria.
He said there is a calamity coming ahead of Nigeria if the crisis facing the nation is not addressed speedily.
The cleric made the call at the church’s midweek service held in Effurun on Wednesday.
He said,”men of God need to rise, fast and pray and ask God for grace.”
While noting noting that there is high rate of unemployment especially amongst University graduates, insecurity, corruption and untold hardships in the land, Prophet Ariole said they’re all as a result of the wickedness of man in the Country.
Prophet Ariole who spoke on the topic,”The wickedness of man” noted that people suffer as a result of evil projections in their lives and businesses.
Prophet Ariole who drew his text from Genesis 6:5-8, Genesis 6:13, Genesis 6:14, Genesis 9:11 and Proverbs 10:15 amongst others said,”there’s need for a revival again.
The revival that young children grow and were yearning to serve God. The revival as of old.”
He also enjoined Christians in the country to live politics to politicians.
He said this is one the reasons why there are all kinds of prophecies that keep failing.”You find all kinds of prophecies that never manifest. You find people hoping and their hopes dashed because the leaders who should carry their responsibilities have failed them.”
According to Prophet Ariole,”There’s so much wealth and corruption even in the house of God. That’s why things are taken for granted”.
Prophet Ariole who said there’s war in the Country, said there’s so much death in Nigeria and Ukrain just as he prayed God to show Nigeria mercy.
“We’ve seen people on journey and they were kidnapped, raped and killed after ransom have been collected from them.
The church is quiet about these atrocities. There’s too much wickedness in the land.
The church has become powerless because of financial transactions.”
“Nigeria is witnessing the wrath of God if you don’t know. Nigeria is a nation experiencing the wrath of God”.
Prophet Ariole said there’s a need for the Ark of God to be reestablished.
“The spiritual ark built for the safety of those who found grace with God.”
The cleric who christened the Ark as a “protective coverage” for those who found grace with God also pointed that it is an institution of obedience and discipline.”He stressed that the Ark is a symbol of an institution of discipline.
Prophet Ariole said, “there is carnibalism in Nigeria. They’re trading on human parts. Pastors now involved in drug trafficking. We’ve seen men of God accused of rape. We see children that should be under the fear and tutelage of God Almighty, they’re doing all kinds of things.
The church is always concerned about the promise of God. We can’t be talking of blessing if we are found wanting “he maintained.
Prophet Ariole further said the citizens are exposed to constant attacks and destruction spiritually and physically.
As a result he said, the people are faced with poverty which is killing them and breaking marriages.
Nigeria is a nation where Christians beg literarily to eat. It’s a country where we cannot access health care. It’s a country where education has been bastardized where children do not even have faith in the system. It’s a country where we come to church because we should be in church. People have prayed and situations get worse. Nigeria is a nation covered with darkness, gross darkness.
“I know of a lady who travelled to Lagos and she was abducted, raped and killed. I know Deborah who died proclaiming her faith.
“We need to call God as a nation and forget about spiritual fathers and focus on the Almighty God because spiritual fathers have failed. They’re motivational speakers. They motivate you and there’s still crisis in the nation.
Prophet Ariole said if the people of the Country must survive from sin and corruption, they need righteousness pointing out that,”it’s a bleeding situation.”
The cleric who condemned the arrest and destruction of vessels by security operatives in the Nigerian waterways said, “How can a vessel containing oil be seen and be burnt? It means, millions of dollars have been lost. What a nation? He said.
He added that if the nation must come out from its present challenges, they need the wisdom of God.
He spoke about the subsidy removal and other issues causing the people hardships.
