Tension grip residents in Yaba area of Lagos State Wednesday morning after the West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) building in the area was engulfed in fire.
Reports obtained by Naija News revealed that the fire started at about 6.50 am with many people trapped in the building.
As at 7.15 am the cause of the fire was still unknown.
It was reported that the fire broke out from the middle of the high-rise building and those trapped in the building were seen frantically calling for help.
However, officials of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service and other emergency responders have arrived at the scene in an attempt to put out the raging fire
