The wife of the executive chairman of Aniocha South Local Government Area, Mrs. Ella Jude Chukwunwike, has commended traders in the council area for their sustained support to the Delta State Government, particularly their commitment to women mobilization whenever the need arises.

Mrs. Chukwunwike made this commendation while delivering 300 bags of 10kg rice to traders at Afor Market, Ogwashi-Uku, as part of the Yuletide outreach to market women.
According to her, the gesture was initiated by the wife of the Governor of Delta State, Her Excellency, Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori, to celebrate the festive season with traders across the state.
She urged the beneficiaries to remain steadfast in supporting government programmes, assuring them that the days ahead hold greater promise under the MORE Agenda, in alignment with the Renewed Hope Initiative.

Mrs. Chukwunwike said she organized a Christmas party for children within the local government, during which school bags and writing materials were distributed.
She added that widows and other vulnerable residents were equally remembered and supported during the yuletide season.
She described the warm reception accorded her by traders at Afor Market as unique and heart-warming, pledging that the scope of such interventions would be broadened in subsequent engagements.
She attributed the successes recorded so far in humanitarian services, charity, and community support to the You Matter Charity Foundation, a brainchild of Mrs. Oborevwori, whom she described as a mother of the state and a devout Christian with a deep passion for humanity.
In her remarks, the Omu of Ogwashi-Uku, Ms. Edith Rafua, expressed profound gratitude to the wife of the state governor for consistently remembering traders, particularly those at Ogwashi-Uku, the commercial nerve centre of Aniocha South.
She prayed for God’s continued blessings, sound health, and renewed strength for Mrs. Oborevwori in her humanitarian commitment to Delta State.
