A Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to Governor Oborevwori on Non Indigenes Affairs Nze Francis Onuora has asserted that non indigenes in Delta State are in support of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ‘ s stakeholders defection to the All Progressive Congress ( APC) .
Onuora who is also a chieftain of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Delta Central And South Senatorial Districts made the assertion in a media chat with our correspondent in Warri on Monday 28th April, 2025 .
The Warri based sports wears and equipment merchant explained that his assertion was based on the feelers from non indigenes on the defection.
” As you can see, we ( non indigenes) have mobilized in our numbers to the formal defection of our dear Governor Sheriff Francis Oborevwori and other PDP stakeholders to APC in Asaba today.
” This is a clear indication of our unalloyed support for His Excellency Rt Hon Elder Sheriff Francis Oborevwori .
” We will continue to support him in order to reciprocate his patronage for us .
“We are indeed proud to identify with Governor Oborevwori. ” he added
“He has our mandate in whatever decision he takes on the politics of Delta State and Nigeria” he added
Meanwhile, Nze Francis Onuora with scores of members of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Political Frontiers and other non indigenes departed Warri in dozens of hired commercial buses to Asaba for the formal defection of PDP ‘ s stakeholders to APC shortly after the media interaction.
