Agbarha Warri born Senior Special Assistant ( SSA) to Governor Oborevwori on Community Development, Prince Julius Obelikpeyah is to celebrate the one year anniversary of Governor Sheriff Francis Oborevwori in office in a memorable way.
Obelikpeyah who was a former Chairman of Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria ( PMAN ) Delta State Chapter made this known to news men in a media interaction at his Airport Road Effurun Uvwie Local Government Area residence on Sunday 25th May, 2024.
The renowned entertainment expert disclosed that he has in collocation with entertainment department of Delta State arranged carnival like celebration at the Osubi Trade Fair Complex that will for seasoned Nigerian artists that will entertain live , lectures on ‘ education is not a scam, say no violence, say no to gender inequality among other interesting topical issues on Sunday June 2nd , 2024 .
He also disclosed that there will be a carnival train from Osubi the country home of Governor Oborevwori to the neighbouring Orerokpe , the headquarters of Okpe Local Government Area and environs.
Prince Obels as he is fondly called further disclosed that Governor Oborevwori has assured of a watertight security before, during and after the one day celebration of the event.
Obelikpeyah who owned the famous Revolution Nite clubs in Effurun, Asaba and Port Harcourt disclosed that there will be free 30 thousand customised t- shirts and face caps , 20 thousand white handkerchieves and transportation for those coming from afar.
The entertainment guru vowed that he will make Delta State the most outstanding states in the country in terms of entertainment .
” I am doing all these to justify my appointment and for people to know that I am not like others who do nothing to justify their appointments or help in promoting the MORE Agenda of His Excellency Governor Rt Hon ( Elder ) Sheriff Francis Oborevwori.”he added
Prince Julius Obelikpeyah had disclosed that he knew Governor Oborevwori over 30 when they first met in the United Kingdom , ” He ( Governor Oborevwori ) is a forthright person . He is very resourceful .He will take Delta State to greater heights.” he added.
