Governor Oborevwori lauded the vision and tenacity of Uvwie Local Government Council Chairman, Hon. Anthony Ofoni, for prioritizing health infrastructure.
The Governor Represented by his deputy,Sir Monday Onyeme stated that the facility showcases the power of local governance, demonstrating that determined leadership meeting community needs yields extraordinary results.
Governor Oborevwori emphasized his administration’s commitment to improving healthcare across the state, a key pillar of the M.O.R.E Agenda
The Governor urged the people to take ownership of the new asset and government projects, ensuring security of personnel and equipment.
The Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom, HRM Dr. Emmanuel E. Sideso,Abe I described the Cottage Hospital as a new chapter of health and well-being for the community, achieved through government and community collaboration.
Earlier chairman of Uvwie local government,Chief Anthony Ofoni said the hospital will provide essential services, including maternal and childcare, emergency stabilization, basic surgery, and general outpatient services, decongesting tertiary hospitals and saving lives.
He commended the state Governor Rt Hon Sheriff Oborewvori for attracting development to the Uvwie council Boss added that project is a critical achievement in strengthening grassroots healthcare and a manifestation of the Oborevwori’s led administration’s M.O.R.E Agenda for Meaningful Development .
