A front line member of All Progressive Congress ( APC) in Delta State, Olorogun Eunice Daji Okoh has commiserated with the people of Udu Kingdom over the demise of HRM Emmanuel Bethel Delekpe , Owhorhu 1 the Ovie of Udu Kingdom.
This was contained a statement issued by the Okoh who is also the treasurer of Urhobo Progress Union (UPU )Worldwide in Otor – Udu headquarters of Udu Local Government Area on Thursday 17th April, 2025.
The devout Catholic who is paternally and maternally related to Udu communities of Obubu, Ovwodokpokpo and Otor – Udu , described the death of the traditional ruler as a personal lost to her as she recalled that the traditional ruler appointed her as a member of the security committee of Udu Ovwodokpokpo Community.
” He was like a father to me and my father. We shall greatly miss him .” the statement added
The statement also described the late monarch of Udu Kingdom as a pride to Udu people among the comity of traditional rulers in Delta State .
The statement therefore prayed that God should grant the nuclear family of Owhorhu 1, the people of Udu Kingdom, Urhobo Nation and Delta State the fortitude to bear the lost of the traditional ruler.
