Owe Inaugurates UPU Women Wing (Egwheya)

The President General of Urhobo Progress Union ,UPU Chief Ese Gam Owe has Inaugurated the women wing of the group known as UPU Egwheya .

The President General of the Urhobo Progress Union ,Chief Owe Urged the women to work effortlessly and contribute their quota to the upliftment and development of Urhobo nation.

Owe was speaking at the Inauguration ceremony of the UPU women’s wing on Saturday at the Uhrobo Cultural center Okere, Warri South local Government Area of Delta State .

 

 

The President General Urhobo Progress Union Chief Ese Gam Owe advised members of the newly Inaugurated UPU Women’s Wing to be focused and ready to contribute their quota to the development of Urhobo land, and become a good ambassadors of Urhobo Nation.

He appealed to the women to always imbibe the spirit of oneness so that the goal and vision of UPU can be achieved.

Chief Ese Gam vowed to continue to do his best to give the Urhobo people a refined leadership and ensure a peaceful co-existence between the Uhrobo and other ethnicity in the Delta State .

 

The newly inaugurated President of UPU Women’s Wing, Chief Rose Oghene, commended the President General of the Urhobo Progress Union for giving them the mandate to contribute their quote to the development of Urhobo nation.

Chief Oghene promised to work inline and in collaboration with the National body of the union to take it to an enviable height .

 

Also speaking the first vice President Chief Mrs Beatrice Olori, and the second vice president , Chief Meg Atano pledge their support and full cooperation of the body to work with the guidelines of the Urhobo Progress Union, UPU.

They pledged not to betray the trust reposed on them .

Highpoint of the event was the Inauguration of the UPU Women’s wing by the President General Urhobo Progress Union Chief Ese Gam.
