District Governor,Rotary international District 9141 Rotarian Emeke Utebor has presented a charter certificate to the President of a new club, Rotary club of Bendel Estate.
The event was held on Wednesday at Bendel Estate,Ugborikoko in Uvwie local government Area of Delta State .
Rotary club of Bendel Estate was chartered by Rotary club of Edjeba.
The birth of Rotary Club Of Bendel Estate has automatically increased the number of over 1.2 million Rotarians worldwide.
The District Governor Rotarian Emeke Utebor who was represented by the District Governor Nominee,Rotarian Anthony Woghiren accompanied by the new club adviser Rotarian Nicholas Otobor, Past Assistant District Governors, Assistant District Governors, Rotary club Presidents as well as Past Presidents, performed the certification ceremony.
District Governor Nominee,Rotarian Woghiren told the new President, Rotarian Stellamaris Duru that the task ahead is not an easy one,but encouraged her to be strong and diligent inorder for her to succeed in growing the club to an enviable height .
The District Governor Nominee also enjoined the chartered Members to support their President to increase the number of members and to make her tenure successful .
He promised to support and guide the president and members of the club ,urging them to feel free to call on him for advice and clarification of any issues concerning Rotary club.
He added that they should be committed to serving humanity without expecting any returns .

Also speaking the new club adviser Rotarian Nicholas Otobor gave a brief story how the new club was formed and thanked all that made it possible to birth Rotary club of Bendel Estate.
He also advised the new President to carryout her duties according to Rotary Rules and objectives as well as be guided by the four way test of Rotary International.
For his part One of the District Governors present at the charter certificate presentation ceremony, Rotarian Lawrence Nwadiogbu urged the members to support their President at all times ,saying the future ,possibilities and prospects of the club are in their hands.
He charged the members of Rotary club of Bendel Estate to carryout service projects that will impact on the lives of members of their community.
The new President of Rotary Club of Bendel Estate, Rotarian Stellamaris Duru thanked God Almighty and all that made it possible for the club to be chartered especially the President and Members of Rotary Club of Edjeba.
She pledged to carry all members along inorder for the club to be among the best in District 9141.
The gathering also witness the Presence of some Past Districts Governors including PAG Gabriel Egba ,PAG kehinde oisemaye ,PAG AG Klem Douglas, AG Wilson Kokarhaye .
The highpoint of the event was presentation of Charter certificate to Rotary club of Bendel Estate, cutting of cake and voluntary contributions to the growth of the new club .
