The Rotary Club of Effurun gateway, District 9141 has installed President Rotarian Lucky Ada as President for 2025/2026 Rotary Year.
The investiture ceremony had in attendance Rotary international District 9141 Governor, Rotarian Anthony Woghiren, Legal luminaries,including Kunle Edun SAN,Chairman of the event ,Dr. Lewis Aitufe Esq.,
Chief Jeremiah Anunwa,
Assistant District Governor zone 6, Rotarian Nicholas Otobor Past and Present Rotary club Presidents within and outside the District.
The investiture of Rotarian lucky Ada as President of the Rotary club of Effurun gateway signals a smooth transition of leadership even as it ushered in new chapter of the club in its humanitarian work aimed at achieving a better society.
The investiture equally provided a unique opportunity for fund raising of the community service projects and programmes reflecting Rotary international seven areas of focus by Rotarians, friends of Rotary and guests present.

Noted the Rotary international is an organization of selfless individuals who are committed at putting smiles on the faces of people, touching lives and the indigents all around the world.
The DG while inducting new club members urged them to work with the club President in actualising the ideals of Rotary there by joining hands and fellowship with the over 1.4 million Rotarians globally in doing good in the world.
While calling for club expansion in membership and club creation, Rotarian Anthony Woghiren added that by so doing more hands in the guise of resources would be pulled in to meet Community and global humanitarian needs.

speech appreciated members of the club for their trust reposed in him to pilot the affairs of the club for the next one year,.
He emphasized the importance of teamwork, service above self and collaboration.
Rotarian Ada pledged to redefine the club’s path and enhance its image through meaningful and impactful projects.
He further stated that Ten million naira has been estimated for the execution of the projects which aligns with Rotary International’s seven areas of focus which included the Provision of portable drinking water, Provision of delivery kits to expectant mothers , Medical outreach , Financial support for 10 petty traders amongst others .
He appealed to the club
members ,Friends of the club and other Rotarians to Donate generously to the execution of the communities service Projects for 2025/2026 Rotary year.
Earlier the outgoing President of the club, Rotarian Israel Fadoju appreciated members and Board members for the support to him during his tenure alluding that in the 2024/2025 Rotary year a lot was achieved that cut across Rotary seven areas of focus which included ,water and sanitation, maternal and child health care, education and literacy, Disease eradication and prevention amongst others.
He appealed for support to the new President ,Rotarian lucky Ada in order for him to achieve the mandate of Rotary in his year,adding that he posses the leadership skills to touch lives and affect Communities.
Others who spoke including the guest speaker, Rotarian Emmanuel Etsano as well as the installation committee chairman , Rotarian Alex Osaretin revealed that Rotary clubs have passion for putting smiles on the faces of people in their mandate areas thereby effecting positive change in the world.
The event featured the induction of New members, Inauguration of Board members as well as presentation of awards of recognition to outstanding Rotarians and Non Rotarians.
