The Rotary Club of Warri Central ,Under Rotary International District 9141 has donated 150 brightly colored school bags to special indigent students at Dom Domingos College in Warri, Delta State.
This gesture aims to alleviate financial burdens on families and ensure students have necessary tools to succeed in their studies.

Empowering Special Students
President of the Rotary Club of Warri Central, Rotarian Efetobore Tobrise, emphasized that every child deserves access to quality education, including basic resources like school bags. She highlighted the importance of showing love and care to special children and encouraged societal support for their development.
“This donation aligns with Rotary International’s seven areas of focus, particularly Basic Education and Literacy ” She added.

A Boost to Morale and Academic Performance
The school’s principal, Mrs. Florence Okpakpo, expressed gratitude for the donation, noting its positive impact on students’ morale and academic performance.
She appealed to other Rotary clubs to assist special students, making learning more meaningful.
Inspiring Young Learners
Vice President of the Rotary Club of Warri Central, Rotarian Churchill Botu, an old student of Dom Domingos College, expressed joy that the club chose the school for the donation.
He emphasized the club’s desire to inspire and encourage young learners to reach their full potential.
Members of Rotary Club of Warri Central later moved from class to class to donate bags to students who do not have bags as some of them used polythene bags to school .
