Rotarian Efetobore Tobrise has emerged the 6th President of Rotary club of Warri Central , District 9141 with a promise to work in line with Rotary’s Core Values .
Rotarian Tobrise disclosed that the club has budgeted the sum of Ten Million naira for community service projects for the 2025/2026 Rotary year .
The installation ceremony of Rotarian Efetobore Tobrise was attended by Rotary international District 9141 Governor, Rotarian Anthony Woghiren,Past and Present Assistant District Governors, Rotarians ,friends of Rotary Club of Warri Central amongst others .
The 6th President of Rotary Club of Warri Central Rtn Tobrise shortly after she was installed during the colorful investiture ceremony appealed for financial support from members and friends of the club to enable the club actualize its vision to create lasting changes in their mandated communities during her tenure .
She listed some of the key projects that the club budgeted the sum of ten million to execute to include water project ,empowering individuals with soft loans without interest to start up small scale business , food and medical support, provision of education materials, provision of waste disposal dumps in strategic locations and donation to Rotary foundation.
Rotarian Tobrise thanked Mr Emmanuel Ofoh an Engineer and Mr Biodun Otunola for their contributions to kick start the projects and solicited for more donations.
The newly installed President urged the club members to support her in navigating the challenges and opportunities that lies ahead and promised not to betray their trust .
The outgoing President, Rotarian Isioma Uwagbai while performing the symbolic transfer of leadership to the new President disclosed that during his tenure the club executed projects in line with Rotary international seven areas of focus.
He further disclosed that the club gave out 120 packs of delivery kits to pregnant women at different health centers, donated 150 school uniforms to pupils of Alders town primary school ,Donated Hospital equipment to Central hospital Warri amongst others .
Rotary international District 9141 Governor, Rotarian Anthony Woghiren represented by Assistant District Governor zone 7 Rotarian Kenneth Iyere while congratulating Rotarian Efetobore Tobrise advised the club members to give special attention to the provision of potable water in communities.
The installation of Rotary Club of Warri Central 6th President featured Donations towards the execution of community service projects, induction of new Rotarians , inauguration of new Board of Directors for the 2025/2026 Rotary year amongst others.
