Rotary club leaders have been charged to inducts quality members that would contribute to Rotary foundation and pay their yearly dues promptly.
The 2025/2026 Rotary international District 9141 Governor, Rotarian Anthony Woghiren gave the charge during the yearly District learners Assembly and Grant management seminars held at Effurun,Uvwie local government area of Delta State.

Rotarian Wogherien disclosed that the District PET project for the year is “water for all ” and appealed to all club Presidents to key into the District PET project and ensure there is water for residents of the communities in their mandate areas .
The District Governor- elect added that this year’s theme is unite for Good .
He advised the Presidents to take advantage of Rotary District 9141 grants to enable them to embark on meaningful projects.
Rotarian Woghiren also called on the club’s to collaborate and execute maga projects.
He commended the HOC Chairman Rtn Lawrence Nwadiogbu and his team for making the District proud.
The participants from Edo,Baylesa And Rivers states join their fellow Rotarians in Delta State to attend the learning Assembly and Grant management seminars in order to equip themselves with the skills and knowledge they need to effectively fulfill their roles and contribute to Rotary’s mission as they prepare to take over leadership for the 2025/26 Rotary year.
Those that attended the event are Presidents -elect ,incoming secretaries,treasurers, foundation chairs and club learning facilitators.
Some of the participants were happy to learn new skills that will prepare them for their leadership roles in their various clubs.
During the programme various resource persons taught the participants on teamwork, how to access District and Global grants , membership drive, effective communication skills, building Rotary’s public image ,developing action plans for achievements of goals and setting of Goals amongst others.
The event saw the Rotary international District 9141 Governor, Rotarian Chinedu Ikegwuani presenting awards to Rotary clubs that gave more money to the Rotary foundation for the year , clubs that inducted more members , amongst others.
The event was climaxed with all white night Party were Rotarians have the opportunity to unwind and network as well as make new friends.
