EFFURUN, DELTA STATE– Rotary International District 9141 (Bayelsa,Rivers,Edo and Delta States )is gearing up to host its Presidents-Elect Learning Seminar from March 6 to 7, 2026, at the Monarchy Event Center Effurun in Uvwie Local Government Area.
In an interview with Actual News, District Governor-elect Rotarian Chibueze Anthony Olikagu emphasized that the seminar is designed for club presidents-elect who will serve in the 2026-2027 Rotary year.
Rotarian Olikagu noted that the training will equip incoming presidents with vital leadership skills and allow for the sharing of experiences that will enhance their ability to effectively lead their respective clubs.
He highlighted the importance of networking, stating that participants will have the opportunity to get to know each other and connect with district leaders.
During the seminar, elected incoming presidents will be trained on the expectations and responsibilities associated with their roles. In an exciting development, Rotarian Olikagu revealed that renowned Rotary leaders have arrived in Warri to impart their knowledge and experience to the incoming club leaders during the seminar in Effurun.
Chairman of the Presidents-Elect Learning Seminar (PELS), Past Assistant Governor Rotarian Wilson Kokarhaye, added that the seminar will focus on developing skills in team building and project management while also covering essential knowledge on leadership and Rotary operations.
The seminar promises to foster a new generation of effective leaders poised to strengthen the impact of Rotary in their communities.
