Rotary international District 9141 on Saturday Organised club officers learning seminar in Delta State for Rotary clubs in Zone 4 to 10 .
Speaking at the learning Seminar held at Cletano Hotel Osubi ,Okpe local government area the District Governor-Elect Rotarian Anthony Woghiren advised the participants to put to practice what they learnt in improving service delivery .
The participants included Presidents- elect, Secretaries , Treasurers, Membership chairs, foundation chairs ,Club Admin, Public image chairs , Club service project chairs and new generation chairs.
Addressing the participants,Rotary international District 9141 Governor elect Rtn Anthony Woghiren said the District pet project for 2025-2026 Rotary year is water for all and urged all clubs to key into the pet project and provide water in their various mandate areas.
He also informed the participants that the District target of one million Dollars contribution to Rotary foundation is achievable,urging them to work towards realizing the target.
While informing the club leaders to ensure they induct 700 new members as the target of the district ,the District Governor- elect represented by Past Assistant Governor,Rtn Akinyemi Akinfaloye stressed that they should aimed at inducting quality members who will pay their annual dues promptly.
He stated that the learning seminar is important inorder to acquit the leaders with more knowledge and understanding for effective service delivery.
Rotarian Woghiren urged the leaders to involve members in various leadership roles within the clubs and in service projects .
Resources persons including ,PAG Catherine Ogbonaya, PAG Wilson kokarhaye,AG Reginald Nnoshirin ,PAG Clem Aboderin, PAG Maria Edirin-Niemogha ,AGD Nicholas Otoboh,AG Michael Eneheziena lectured on different areas of leadership skills to include the importance of our roles and responsibilities in delivering a vibrant club, conflict management ;an essential tools for club development and growth,Rotary 2025-2026 : what will we do differently, amongst others.
At the end of the learning seminar some Presidents elect including,Rtn Malik Abubakar,Rtn Friday Togbe,Rtn Osamuyi Omokha stated that they are fully prepared to assume their roles and responsibilities come July 1, 2025 the beginning of the New Rotary Year.
