By Ambrose Ologide.
The Leader of Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP) Obodo Ward , Warri South Local Government Area, Elder Andrew Ukavbe has stated that it will be difficult for any governor be it in the military or civilian administration to equal the achievements of Governor Sheriff Francis Oborevwori so far.
Ukavbe who is a member of Delta State House of Assembly Service Commission, stated this while reacting to the This Day Newspaper/Arise TV Award of The Governor of The Year 2024 on Governor Oborevwori in an exclusive media chat with our correspondent at his off NPA/ Effurun Highway, Ekpan Uvwie Local Government Area residence at the weekend.

Ukavbe who is the Secretary of the Prestigious Warri Club hailed Governor Oborevwori for the award as he noted that it is on record that Rt Hon (Elder) Oborevwori is the first governor in Delta State to be given such an award in a first tenure by reputable media organizations .
The Itsekiri born political icon also remarked that Governor’s Oborevwori breakthrough on the Ode – Itsekiri Bridge was a landmark achievement and therefore remarkable.
” His ( Governor Oborevwori) will forever be remembered for good by the Itsekiri people” he added.

Ukavbe further gave Governor Oborevwori a pat on the back for the on going multi billion naira flyover projects in Uvwie and Warri South Local Government areas , the drainage construction projects in both local government areas and other lauderdale projects across the state.

Ukavbe again gave Governor Oborevwori kudos for his employment program as his stated that all communities in Delta State are beneficiaries. ” All these are more than enough to earn him ( Governor Oborevwori) the ” Governor of The 2024 “Ukavbe added.
