The executive Chairman of Uvwie local government, Chief Anthony Ofoni has Assured the people of Iteregbi community that the Ultra Modern Cottage Hospital would soon be Inaugurated .
Chief Ofoni made the Announcement during the Inauguration of Ugboroke Modern market, Warehouse and Abattoir on Wednesday February 5, 2025.

The Uvwie council Boss further disclosed that work at the Ultra Modern Cottage Hospital, Iteregbi is on top gear.
“Knowing the importance of health in every Society, we are working in great synergy with the Primary Health Department to ensure that all Health programmes directed by the State are executed effectively in Uvwie Local Government Area”Chief Ofoni stated .
He revealed that during his 100 days in office, the council under his leadership gave scholarship to well-deserving pupils at Alegbo Primary School and also cash gifts to exceptional teachers.
As a lover of education, the Uvwie council Boss launched Ofoni Cares Welcome Back to School Programme where over 500 pupils across the 26 Public Primary Schools were given educational support materials.
He listed other achievements so far to include repairs of failed portions of some roads along Jakpa, PTI, GRA and other areas that were in very bad shape, installation of solar street lights in some streets and provision of a brand new big Sienna Bus for Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) amongst others.
Chief Ofoni assured he would embark on more projects in different communities across Uvwie Local Government Area, adding that he was elected to
serve the people and to make every Community feel the presence of Government.
He pledged to align with the M.O.RE. agenda of the state Governor, Rt. Hon. (Elder) Sheriff Oborevwori (JP), whose development success story has won him the BEST Governor in Nigeria.
