UVWIE – Chairman of Uvwie Local Government Council,Delta State Olorogun Anthony Ofoni has called upon the newly elected President of Ugborikoko community, Dickson Ugbobiri, to prioritize peace and unity within the community.

During the transition from the previous executive, led by Mr. Christian Erifevime, Olorogun Ofoni emphasized the importance of dissolving the old leadership to prevent potential disruptions in the community’s harmony.

He urged Ugbobiri and his new executive team to collaborate effectively to foster development and progress in Ugborikoko.
Olorogun Ofoni cautioned against any form of conflict or unrest, particularly involving the newly elected President and the Chairman of the Disciplinary Committee, Mr. Kelvin Egere.
He stressed that the new executive must engage with community elders and chiefs, warning that any complaints from these leaders would lead to suspension after two warnings.
The Uvwie council chairman reiterated that the current administration, under Governor Oborewvori, will not tolerate unrest from community youth or the executive.
Olorogun Ofoni encouraged the new leadership to align their efforts with the Oborewvori’s MORE agenda to enhance development in Ugborikoko.

Olorogun Ofoni however expressed gratitude to the youth of Ugborikoko for their peaceful conduct and urged them to continue fostering a harmonious atmosphere within the community.
