Why Parents Should Celebrate The Marriage Of Their Children – Onuora

A Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to Governor Oborevwori on Non Indigenes Affairs, Nze Francis Onuora has stated why parents should celebrate the marriage of their children.

Onuora who is also a chieftain of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Delta Central And South Senatorial Districts spoke to our correspondent at a reception of solemnization of holy matrimony of his son, Chuba and Nwamaka at Redeem Hall Shekinah Parish , opposite DBS Edjeba Agbarha Warri on Saturday 17th May , 2025.
He reasoned that marriage is an institution ordained by God and therefore should be celebrated by the couple and their parents .
” It is also a thing of joy for parents to witness the marriage of their children. For not all parents are fortunate to witness the marriage of their children.
” Therefore parents who are fortunate to witness the marriage of their children, should celebrate it ” he added
Onuora who is a Warri based sports wears and equipment merchant siezed the opportunity to appreciate those who who contributed to the success of the event through cash and kind.

Some of those he mentioned includes : Rev Father Jude Igho , Rev Father Jude Nwabuokei, Rev Father Bartholomew Odega , Chief & Mrs Inno Chikezie , Chief & Mrs Peter Ezejelue , Chief Michael Ezeh , Hon Prince Iruka Umeodunukwe and Chief Ndidi Joel Aminu .
