A Warri Urhobo All Progressive Congress APC, chieftain, Professor Israel N Abido ( JP) has asserted that the emergence of Chief Solomon Arenyeka as chairman APC in Delta State will boost the strength of the party in the state.
Abido made the assertion in a good will message to the new APC Delta State chairman Chief Solomon Arenyeka in a media chat with our correspondent in Warri on Wednesday 4th March, 2026.
He explained that his assertion was based on the fact that Chief Solomon Arenyeka is an astute , grassroot politician and a mobilizer .
The Agbarha Warri political icon therefore hailed the party leaders and elders for their of choice of Chief Solomon Arenyeka as the concensual chairman of the party in Delta State ‘It is a wise decision and a welcome development ‘ the statement added.
While congratulating Chief Solomon Arenyeka for his emergence as the new APC Chairman in Delta State, Professor Abido prayed and wished the new APC Delta State chairman a successful tenure in office.
Professor Abido also praised the immediate past chairman of the party in the state, Elder Omeni Sobotie for making the party great in Delta State.
Abido in the statement was further full of praises for Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for his successful leadership role which according to him led to the huge successes of APC congreses from ward , local government and state government levels in the state.
