The Governor of Delta State and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP )Vice Presidential candidate in 2023 general elections, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa has tasked Deltans on bloc votes in the said elections.
Governor Okowa stated this in his address at the PDP mega rally in Warri South Local Government Area at the Warri Township Stadium Warri on Thursday 22nd December, 2022 .
Governor Okowa reasoned that Deltans should count themselves lucky to have one of their own as the Vice Presidential candidate of PDP in the 2023 general elections .
Governor Okowa therefore urged Deltans to be appreciative to PDP for his emergence as the Vice Presidential candidate of PDP in next year’s general elections.
The only way to do this according to him was giving bloc votes to PDP in the forthcoming general elections.
He further charged party members to embark on avgrass root campaign in order to realise the block votes .
While highlighting the Atiku Okowa ticket manifesto , he berated the All Progressive Congress (APC ) Federal Government led for maladministration and not keeping to promises made to Nigerians
Governor Okowa stated that based on his campaign tour of most parts of the country so far , he proudly informed that PDP was the accepted political party in the country .
He also also stated that there was no road in Labour Party and that the only road to salvation in Nigeria was the PDP.
He hailed party members for the huge success of the event just as he stated that he solicited for support of the youths for the victory of the party in next year’s general elections.
