The Executive Chairman of Bomadi Local Government Council, Hon. Dagidi Rawlings Andaye, has ordered the immediate arrest of suspects involved in a ritual attack on an elderly woman.
Hon. Dagidi Rawlings Andaye, gave the order when he paid an unscheduled visit to Bomadi General Hospital following the attack on an elderly woman on in Bomadi by suspected ritualists.
The Bomadi council Boss thanked God that the victim’s condition has been stabilized. .

Disturbed by the incident, Hon. Andaye further issued a strong warning to those behind the crime, declaring that Bomadi will not be a safe haven for criminal elements.
He charged all security agencies within the local government to act swiftly and decisively in apprehending the perpetrators, stressing that justice must be served without delay.
The Chairman further disclosed that proactive security measures have been strengthened across the area, including intensified surveillance, improved intelligence gathering, and closer collaboration with community vigilante groups.
He emphasized that these modalities are already in motion to prevent future occurrences and ensure the safety of lives and property.
Reaffirming his responsibility as Chief Security Officer of the Local Government, Hon. Andaye assured residents that his administration remains fully committed to maintaining peace and order.
He urged members of the public to remain vigilant and support security agencies with credible information that can aid ongoing investigations.
During the visit, the Chairman also extended compassion to other patients in the hospital, offering financial support towards their medical bills and providing them with stipends.
He prayed with them for their speedy recovery, demonstrating his administration’s continued commitment to the welfare and well-being of the people of Bomadi.
The medical Doctor on duty commended the Chairman for his prompt intervention and humanitarian gesture, noting that the victim responded well to treatment due to timely support.
Other patients in the ward also expressed appreciation to Hon. Dagidi Andaye for coming to their aid, describing his visit as a source of hope and encouragement in their time of need.
