…Says Delta youth are united for PDP, Oborevwori.
The outcome of the rigged presidential and National Assembly elections not withstanding, the ruling party in the state, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, shall win the governorship election in Delta State on March 11.
Executive Assistant on Communications to Delta State Governor, Barr Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe gave the assurance on Thursday in a statement, saying Delta youth have confidence and trust in the ability of the party’s governorship candidate, Rt Hon Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, to advance Delta through his much talked about Meaningful Development, Opportunity for all Deltans, Realistic Reforms and Enhanced peace and Security, M.O.R.E, mantra.
He noted that the new trend of politics across Nigeria points to the fact that the youth are now ready to do the needful so as to guarantee a better and prosperous future through good governance, social justice, equity, accountability and genuine patriotism, adding that Oborevwori is loved by the youth because of his humility, transparency, incorruptible track record and astute leadership.
Oghenesivbe assured that in the coming days to the governorship elections, Delta youth, obidient and non obidient, shall mobilize heavily to guarantee the landslide victory of PDP Guber candidate at the polls.
“PDP was robbed of the presidential election victory as can be seen from the glaring violation of electoral guidelines by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, under the supervision of the Commission’s Chairman.
“There is now the synergy by Delta youth to strike the right cord by voting PDP, so as to bring on board the man who truly understand their pains and needs, Rt Hon Sheriff Francis Oborevwori.
“While our great party is making frantic efforts to recover our stolen mandate through the Tribunals and the Courts, Delta youth have began cell group discussions mapping out strategies to deliver one of their genuine patriots, Rt Hon Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, JP, the governorship candidate of PDP,” Oghenesivbe said.
