3 Battalion Nigeria Army Effurun Marks Children’s Day In Style

Hundreds of children from various schools and the 3 battalion Nigeria army Baracks today join other children across the Nation to mark the children’s celebration.

Speaking at the event the General officer commanding 6 division Nigeria Army and land component commander joint tasks force operation Delta State, Major General Emekah stated that children are the future of the nation and should be nuture ,mentor , instill values and encourage them to pursue their dreams.

 

General officer commanding 6 division Nigeria Army and land component commander joint tasks force operation Delta State, Major General Emekah while welcoming the children to this year’s children day celebration noted that the task of creating an environment where children feel safe, valued, and inspired remains the crucial responsibility of parents and guardians.

The special Guest of honor and representative of  Major General Emekah,
Commander  63 Brigade and Commander  Sector 1 Joint Task Force South South OP Delts Safe  Brig. Gen.MA Shonibare urge parents and guardians to invests in the future of their children.
Earlier the commanding officer of 3 battalion Nigeria army Effurun Maj. Mohammad Salman stated that the children day celebration was directed to be held by the General Officer Commanding 6 Division, Nigerian Army, Maj Gen  E. Emekah when he attended Easter celebration at the 3 Battalion and also provided the resources for the party which demonstrates his commitment to ensuring sound administration and improving the welfare of troops and their families.

Maj Salman Noted that Children’s Day is a special occasion that reminds parents and guardians of the importance of investing in their children’s education, health, and overall well-being.

Also speaking the Zonal coordinator 63 brigade Mrs Toyosi Shoninara commended the 3 battalion for organizing the children’s day party and prayed that the children grow up and become better people in the society .

The children’s day celebration was fun filled with various games to keep the children busy as the winners were presented with gifts including cash .

There was enough to eat and drink during the party as the children were happy to be at the event.
some of them thanked the organizers and appealed that they should be repeated next year
