The Executive Chairman of Bomadi Local Government Council, Hon. Dagidi Rawlings Andaye, has called on the newly elected leadership of the Bomadi Local Government Area Students Association (BOLGASA) to prioritize the creation of a comprehensive student database to drive effective planning and development.
Hon. Andaye made this call on Wednesday when he received the association’s new executive at his residence in Kpakiama.
The visit served as a formal introduction for the team following their recent emergence at the student convention.
During the interactive session, the Chairman congratulated the officials and urged them to be proactive in revitalizing the association.
He emphasized that a digital or documented database of students is a vital tool for the council to coordinate support and empowerment programs effectively.
“My administration remains committed to repositioning BOLGASA,” Andaye stated. “I charge you to remain focused and work toward restoring this association to its enviable status through unity and consistency.”
Responding on behalf of the students, BOLGASA President Atoukudu Nemiweriteimene Joshua thanked the Chairman for his “youth-friendly” leadership.
He assured the council of the executives’ readiness to work diligently to revive the association’s relevance and impact within the local government and beyond.
The meeting concluded with a reaffirmation of the Council’s support for student-led initiatives aimed at educational growth in the region.
