BOMADI– The Executive Chairman of Bomadi Local Government Council, Hon. Dagidi Rawlings Andaye has reaffirmed his commitment to social welfare during the December edition of the Bomadi Elderly Citizens Empowerment Programme (BECEP)
The empowerment event was held at the Dcns Tobore Oborevwori Ultra-Modern Multipurpose Event Center.
The BECEP initiative serves as a cornerstone of Andaye’s administration, focusing on compassion and inclusion for the community’s most vulnerable members. Beneficiaries, including elderly citizens across the Local Government Area, received financial assistance and essential food items, alleviating pressure on those who have dedicated their lives to family and community development.

In recognition of the upcoming 2025 International Day of Persons with Disabilities, Hon Andaye said the program also included support for individuals living with disabilities, reflecting his administration’s commitment to an equitable and inclusive society.
Hon Andaye emphasized that BECEP is not just a seasonal effort but part of a structured program aimed at uplifting the elderly and vulnerable in Bomadi.
