The Executive Chairman of Aniocha South Local Government Council ,Hon. Pastor Jude Chukwunwike, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to fairness, balanced representation and equitable inclusion across the three clans that make up the council area.
He made this known in Ogwashi-Uku on Monday 24th November 2025 while inaugurating the Afor Market Shop Allocation Committee, which has been mandated to oversee the allocation of the newly constructed 40 lock-up shops in the market.
Addressing the committee members, Pastor Chukwunwike urged them to conduct their assignment with the highest levels of transparency, probity and diligence.
He emphasized that the committee was deliberately constituted to reflect the three clans, adding that such representation is essential to building trust and ensuring an equitable process.
“As a government, we desire to build more shops to accommodate more traders,” he noted. “However, we must ensure development is evenly spread across communities.
